Mission: To promote a school community through encouragement, involvement and support. Our purpose is to enhance the quality of education provided to our children through our continued support, volunteering and financial assistance.
Members: All parents, guardians, teachers, staff and children are welcome and encouraged to attend all PTC meetings and events. We welcome your opinion and value your vote.
Purpose: At our monthly meetings we discuss events that are happening at our schools and affecting our students. Parents have opportunities to connect and interact with other parents, staff and the school principal.
During the school year PTC members:
- Volunteer in all areas of student life at the school.
- Facilitate fundraisers so that teachers and staff can provide programs and projects that would not be possible with the school’s tight budget.
- Help support the staff in achieving the goals of Westwood Elementary.
